Dr Yves Ferroul, MD, is sexologist. He is also agrégé de Lettres and has a Ph.D. in French literature. He is married, and his wife, Michele Ferroul, M.D., is also a sexologist. He is the father of three children and has five grandchildren.
He taught as a University lecturer of medieval literature at the university of Lille 3, and as part-time lecturer of history of medicine and of sexology at the medical school of Lille 2. He has given conferences in numerous contries including France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Morocco, Canada, and the USA.
He used to be vice-president of the French National Union of Doctors Sexologists, member of the board of directors of the French Hospital and Academic Association of Sexology (AIHUS).
